Quality control technicians create plans for specific components, devices and materials based on engineering drawings and orders, work instructions, technical specifications and established quality assurance procedures. They provide root cause analysis and generate corrective action plans, write inspection procedures from drawings and interpret data. An associate degree and two or more years of experience are required.
